- Texas Forest Service
The mission of the Texas Forest Service is to provide statewide leadership to assure the state’s forests, trees, and related natural resources are wisely used, nurtured, protected and perpetuated for the benefit of all Texans.
- Alliance for Community Trees
To support grassroots, citizen based nonprofit organizations dedicated to urban and community tree planting, care, conservation, and education.
- Urban Forestry South Expo
The thirteen urban & community forestry councils in the southern region have formed a cooperative for the purpose of information sharing, and collaborative, regional projects. Urban Forestry South hosts SCC's work.
- Tree New Mexico
Tree New Mexico is dedicated to ensuring sustainalbe forests in urban and rural communities and natural areas through restoration, public education and advocacy.
- USDA Forest Service
Established in 1905, the Forest Service is an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The Forest Service manages public lands in national forests and grasslands.
- Cross Timbers Urban Forestry Council
Mission::: To promote programs in the region to increase interest in urban and community forestry.
- American Forests
American Forests is a world leader in planting trees for environmental restoration, a pioneer in the science and practice of urban forestry, and a primary communicator of the benefits of trees and forests.
- UTEP Centennial Museum
The Centennial museum on the UTEP campus is home to the Chihuahuan Desert Gardens.
- ISA Texas
The International Society of Arboriculture is a professional org. dedicated to continuing education for arborists, to tree care research, and to serve tree care consumers. The Texas Chapter shares the same dedication.
